Stalin. It is difficult to find a more striking, odious and controversial personality in Russian history. The most significant events of the Soviet era are associated with his name - repression and Victory. What was Stalin's personal contribution to both? Disputes about this have not subsided to this day. To understand these painful issues of our history, it is worth turning to the fate of the military elite of that time - the fate of the Marshals of Victory, for whom closeness to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief became both a reward and a curse. Relatives of outstanding military leaders, with whom they shared their thoughts and experiences, will talk about this in the series of documentaries “Stalin’s Marshals.” Famous photo of J.V.
