After an unsuccessful special operation, intelligence officer Alexander Volk ends up in a prison in the Arab East. A few years later, retired KGB Major General Goltsman helps him get out of captivity, but in return asks Volk to find the killers of his son. The murdered man was a good friend of Alexander, so he immediately gets down to business. On the eve of his death, Goltsman's son was investigating the events of June 3, 1943 on the Stone Bridge in Moscow, when the daughter of the USSR Ambassador to Mexico was killed. The wolf reconstructs the events of the past, but the more he learns, the more dangerous the matter becomes.
