Plot synopsis
The film tells about people whose childhood was spent in the very heart of Moscow - the Kremlin. Among the participants in the film are Stalin’s niece Kira Politkovskaya, Stalin’s adopted son Artem Sergeev, Svetlana Alliluyeva, Stepan Mikoyan, Natalya Krestinskaya. Immediately after the revolution, the Kremlin was both home and place of work for Soviet leaders and their families. For the children, it was a large communal apartment in which they spent all their free time. There was a special cinema, a dining room, a place for games, its own Christmas tree, closed to prying eyes, and its own skating rink. The film is based on the memories of children who once played on Cathedral Square.
