The animated series was named after the story of the same name by Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky, “Watercolors,” which is about an artist who unexpectedly found long-lost creative inspiration among his native fields, lakes and forests. The project includes a multi-part cartoon based on the stories and fairy tales of K. G. Paustovsky, such as “Steel Ring”, “Dense Bear”, “Cat Thief”, “Rook in a Trolleybus” and others. Project participants are Russian and Donbass children's animation studios. Children and adults from Russia and Donbass reread and rethought the wise and kind works of Paustovsky.
