Yana lives in a northern sea town. She works at the post office, collects stamps and waits for her father to return from the sea, although she does not hope that he will return. Yana is a very strong person, the consequences of cerebral palsy are almost invisible, and a slight limp and some strangeness, as she believes, only give her additional charm. One day, a sailor named Peter comes to the post office, and the girl's life changes.
