Plot synopsis

A film built on archive footage from the twenties and thirties of the last century, preserving memories of building a new life and a new way of life: the launch of the metro, hard work in production, cultural life and leisure. By combining two parallel stories – the national film chronicle and the diaries – we witness an attempt to revise the historical archives and the usual knowledge about the time. The collective image of a hero from the crowd is brought to the forefront.
