Plot synopsis
It's scary when close, dear people don't have time to talk.
An older and younger brother. Memories of carefree happiness. The time when they had common dreams - to become musicians, to play in an orchestra together. Dima is a conductor. He is getting ready to go on stage. He remembers his childhood. He is haunted by a quarrel with his younger brother, Denis. They have not communicated for many years. Neither of them remembers why. Now they have different interests. The younger brother, Denis, stayed in his native Yaroslavl, works as a welder. When they meet, they are silent, try to talk, but can't. Childhood memories, shared dreams remain inside. Which becomes an inspiration for the older brother to perform the score of Taneyev's cantata "John of Damascus".
