The end of the 18th century. A runaway peasant earns the glory of the "Russian Icarus" when he tests his homemade wings with a desperate jump from the roof. The agitated villagers begin to look more closely at the anomalies around them: various holy fools, showmen and their outlandish tricks, carriers of strange diseases, fall under the disfavor of old women muttering wonderful tales and inciting ordinary people. They also manage to add Dvoynyata to the latter, who is separated from her sick twin sister. It is not surprising that for the young girl, Wingless' experiments with flights become a new obsession.
My debut in feature film was a historical film. But sometimes I watch it and remember something from my life and even childhood, and it makes me happy.
