Film-walk around St. Petersburg. Captured by a broken frame composition, deserted streets, frozen urban infrastructure, stone embankments, pigeons in parks, dandelions breaking through the pavement, aberrations of color and light give rise to a growing sense of anxiety. The sound space of the film is created from random everyday conversations, sounds of the city and a track specially written by Mexican sound artist Enrique Arriaga. Visual and sound meet, the film becomes a direct speech of a human camera-witness about what is clearly heard in the real space of the city.
