Plot synopsis

The beginning of the First World War fell on the reign of Emperor Nicholas II on the Russian throne. At that time, Russia approached a fatal milestone in a state of economic recovery. Its population was growing rapidly. Did the country have a choice - not to enter the war? What is the share of personal responsibility of the emperor, who made a choice in favor of the war that destroyed his state? How did Russian society perceive itself in 1914, what did it expect from the world slaughter?
