Born in Egypt, Nora Armani and Gerald Papasian
created the show "The Song of Ararat" in 1986, which
was inspired by Armenian poetry. Around this
project, the film weaves together past and present, documentary
and fiction, to depict an identity that appears
at times as a refuge, at times as a prison.
