Sixth-grader Egor and his father, Oleg, are interested in radio engineering. A single father, Oleg, works shifts in Ust-Kut and is on the air daily. On December 30th, his father leaves for a work assignment and fails to respond at the scheduled time. Concluding that his father is in trouble, Egor sets out to find him.
