Olia "Zaznaïkina" ("the show-off"), a brilliant student, and Boria "Barmaleikine" ("the bogeyman"), a mediocre student, wake up on the Front Page, a dazzlingly white space, where they are told that to leave they must travel through a series of pages, each representing a distinct world built from their school knowledge. From this moment begins their journey through Scholasticism, a surreal universe of absolute order. Together they experience many adventures, learn to trust each other, and make new friends and enemies among historical figures, literary characters, and fantastic creatures from the school curriculum.
