For more than ten years, secondary school pupils from the village of Gari in the Sverdlovsk Region have been visiting the abandoned village of Pelym every summer.
The only way to reach Pelym is by water, on a small motorboat. The journey takes 10 hours. But what is it that keeps the pupils coming back here time and time again?
