Little-known writer Kamenetsky-Shchedrin composes intricate detective stories on the theme of the new Russian life. The writer draws inspiration from the stories that are actually happening around him. Each novella by the author becomes a new plot for a series in which new characters appear. The only invariable presence in each story is the writer himself and his wife, who is always interfering with his writing.
