Plot synopsis
The film tells the story of life in the Jewish Autonomous Territory of Russia today. It evokes the lives of the descendants of the first inhabitants of this region. The main character of the film, Boris Rak, is the last chairman of the last Jewish kolkhoz. Unlike some of these children, he did not emigrate to Israel. He wants to stay on the land where he was born.
