Born into a working-class family, Elbrus Tamaev was raised with the basic principles of morality: not to harm the weak, to be altruistic and to help the needy. During his schooling, a friend and a pretty girl arrive. Elbrus begins to neglect his work and his friend drags him into drug trafficking. He is denounced and Elbrus becomes the culprit in this affair. He is sentenced to life imprisonment in the section reserved for dangerous criminals from which it is impossible to escape. But our hero, - who we now know is called Count Krestovsky - will manage to be released after 20 years. He returns to his country and undertakes to take revenge on the one who treated him so cruelly.
