Plot synopsis

After getting caught up in a ring-throwing game, a young worker named Kukushkin falls in love with the innkeeper's daughter and asks him for her hand in marriage. Refused, Kukushkin begins practicing ring-throwing. The day comes when the lover wins all the property of a NEPman – and becomes a wealthy suitor for his beloved.
