Plot synopsis
The Zigzag Destiny of Sigismond Ditchbalis, born into a Lithuanian family, left Leningrad at the age of 19 as a volunteer to fight in the Second World War, married in Germany and then emigrated to Australia where he has lived for over 60 years.
