This is a film about contemporary Russia, about the new generation that, witnessing the dubious nature of their parents' business, does not want to follow in their footsteps and will choose a new path. For these young people, the right path is embodied in the notions of honor, love and homeland. The hero, comfortably settled abroad, will, despite this, choose Russia (despite the image given by television series) and will stay there, with the hope of carrying his ideals into the lives of his loved ones and into the destiny of his country.
