The title of the series "Kyrmyskazki" comes from the Tatar word "kyrmyska" which means "ant". The creators of this series wanted to show the national character of the Tatars through funny and humorous little cartoons, "geguis". Each film represents a popular proverb. It is a way for viewers from all over the world to discover Tatar culture.
