Plot synopsis
An animated film, Chevengur was created based on the work and life of the Russian writer Andrei Platonov (1899-1951) (“Chevengur”, “The Dig”, “The Ethereal Road”, “The Locks of Epiphany”, “The Sea of Youth” collections of stories, notebooks, etc.) and presents itself as an attempt to reproduce, at least to “scan” a moment of the great writer’s thought, his pity/love for the weak and the strong of our world, his faith in life, in human potential, the Platonovian propensity for a universal current of human existence.
