Based on the short story by Anatoly Pristavkin "The Little Cuckoos". A wagon arrived at the station with a load defined in the order as a group of very young delinquents. The film tells of their trials and wanderings across Siberia and the first love of two teenagers from the boarding school. The escort officers will try to trample and destroy the fervor of these feelings.
