Plot synopsis
Two sisters, Nina and Shura, have not seen each other for 20 years because they live on different shores of the Black Sea (the village of Taman and the city of Kerch). The sisters dream of building a bridge between Taman and Crimea so that they can finally see each other. But the eldest is already 95 years old and the youngest 90. Both of them fought in the Great Patriotic War (World War II). And one day, on May 9, the eldest, Grandma Nina, can't stand it any longer and decides to embark on a long sea voyage to see her sister.
