Plot synopsis
The events of this TV series take place in the courtyard of an ordinary Moscow building. Two categories of residents try to live together: the old tenants and the new ones, who have come from far away to find work in the capital. They cross paths in the morning when the former leave for work and the latter sweep or look for illegal work. One day, a horrible crime is committed. The news immediately spreads throughout the building and suspicion falls on the Tajik cleaning man. But something is not right, at least that is what a man named Kaleny thinks. This former policeman had to take early retirement because of a serious trauma. Forced to give up his career, he started drinking. There, he decides to conduct his own investigation. He is helped by a young woman named Mavliouda. She also came from Tajikistan to find her husband from whom she had had no news. The former policeman Kaleny and the Tajik Mavliouda solve the case quickly. From then on, they form a curious but effective duo, knowing that he cannot stand immigrants and that she hates alcoholics. But their tandem works wonderfully. People turn to them to solve all sorts of problems and even murders. Together they are confronted with many complicated matters and face various dangers...
