"My Village Ryabina" is a film about a village where journalist and writer Anatole Streliany leads a country life. The village of Ryabina is located on the border between Ukraine and Russia in the middle of Ukrainian and Russian villages. It was this circumstance that served as an alibi for the director to stay with an old friend.
