From 1925 to 1928, he studied at the National Customs Committee. From 1931, he directed feature films in various film studios in the country.
In 1947 he came to the Soyuzmultfilm film studio. In 1949 he was the director of the Minsk Film Studio. He returned to Soyuzmultfilm in 1950, from 1952 he worked in volumetric animation.
