Stalin comes to rest for three days in a castle in the middle of the forest. He is accompanied by his longtime mistress, Lidia. In the office where he sleeps, there is a couch that looks like Freud's in London. He offers Lidia to play the game of psychoanalysis at night. During the day, a young painter, Danilov waits to be received by Stalin to present him with the monument of eternity that he has designed to his glory.
