Plot synopsis

1953. Moscow says its vales to the leader. In the funeral throng Zhenya gets acquainted with Elya. During many hours spent in the funeral procession they managed to fall in love with and find out a lot of each other. But Elya absurdly dies and thus another, adult life starts for Zhenya.
