The film follows two directions. On the one hand, the journey of the conductor Valery Gergiev to Tskhinval after the conflict between Georgia and Ossetia, the preparation and realization of the concert in the devastated city. On the other hand, the film shows the activity of the Master, the rehearsals, the preparation and the direction in London of the famous tetralogy of Wagner: The Ring of the Nibelung.
