Tatiana Khomutova's documentary focuses on the accessibility of St. Petersburg's infrastructure for people with disabilities. This is an order of the Committee of Labor and Social Affairs of St. Petersburg, which in itself is already an achievement.
It is a joyful film when in our city there are places where a disabled person feels first of all a human being, a person who has been thought of, and where taking into account his special needs everything has been done to ensure that access is convenient and respectful, for example to the Philharmonic or to the social taxi service.
It is a sad film when we see that there is so little done although discussions on social support for disabled people and their accessibility to any normal activity have been going on for more than ten years.
One has the impression that before each new step forward, able-bodied people, specialists in the issue of disabled people, have to convince those around them and convince themselves.
