Plot synopsis
The tiger tamer Zenida, heroine of the short story "Lucia", falls in love with Alarine, hero of the short story "Into the Darkness". Oznobichine also fights to win the heart of the intrepid tamer. And Kuprin observes the romantic adventures of his heroes.
