After a car accident in which their parents died, two teenage brothers were left in the care of their grandfather. The younger brother miraculously survived and is now confined to a wheelchair. The elder feels responsible for him and tries to get him back on his feet, but to no avail. Experiencing his own tragedy after the death of his parents, he does not want to accept the fact that his younger brother will remain disabled. He decides to help him in an unusual way. The older brother steals his grandfather's car and drives off with his brother to the river.
