Plot synopsis
The film is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR, director Marlen Khutsiev. "Spring on Zarechnaya Street", "July Rain", "Ilyicha's Outpost", "It Was the Month of May" are cult films of Russian cinema. They changed generations. Film director, screenwriter, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation Marlen Khutsiev always relied on eternal life values in cinema: freedom, openness, independence, harmony. Although, if you ask Marlen Martynovich about his directorial mission, he would most likely smile and shrug. Of course, his cinema is not a sermon, but a confession. Khutsiev is an amazing person who has preserved his purity and openness to the world throughout his long life…
