The cultivation of wasteland. This film was shot as one of the parts of an international film almanac dedicated to the struggle of women around the world for peace. Later, it was included in this almanac, the "Wind Rose", compiled in 1956 by the great Dutch director Joris Ivens, at the DEFA studios. It was composed of Soviet, French, Italian, Brazilian and Chinese short stories. The "Wind Rose" was released on Soviet screens in 1958.
