Plot synopsis
A historical drama based on the novel of the same name by A. S.Pushkin. Peter Grinev, a young gentleman, goes to the place of his military service to Belogorskaya fortress and looses his way during a snowstorm. A casual traveler comes to his help and in gratitude Grinev gives him a rabbit jacket. When Belogorskaya fortress is taken by Pugachev’s army Grinev recognizes his casual traveler in the terrible impostor. And Pugachev is the man to whom Grinev is greatly obliged for his life and happiness.
