Plot synopsis
Yuri Kublanovskiy is a poet, essayist and journalist. He was born in 1947 in Rybinsk. He graduated from the Department of Art History at the History Faculty of Moscow State University. In 1982 he was forced to leave Russia after the publication in the West of his collection of lyrics. He lived in Paris and Munich. He was the first among political emigrants to return to his homeland in 1990.
Rybinsk, Myshkin, Kalyazin, Paris, Polenovo are places dear to the heart of the poet Yuri Kublanovskiy. This is a film-travel about the destiny of a man for whom the Motherland, wherever he is, is always at his side.
