Plot synopsis
Documentary essay about the city of Karabash in the Urals. The media often call it "the dirtiest city on the planet". This title is not officially confirmed, however two centuries of copper mining have left a visible trace on the surrounding nature, placing the city on the verge of ecological disaster. The main activity of the city is the copper smelter, the first source of both jobs and pollution. The young worker Volodya how life is organized in the city where nothing ever changes.
