Plot synopsis
Krivoluchie is a district of Tula but in this film we will not see the usual city, it is a meditation, partly in the style of a documentary, on emigration, abroad, within the country or ultimately deep inside oneself. Andrei and Oxana have not seen each other for almost a year and are returning for a while to their small town that they both left, he to Saint Petersburg, she to Paris. They are surrounded by a multitude of people, each of whom has their reasons and means to live in this touching, almost mystical place with its clandestine podcast, its lookalikes, its skateboarding gang... The geographical boundaries and the boundaries between the real and the imaginary are erased while the heroes seek the answer to the question "why leave or why stay" if we can live like in the movies by staging this reality in any point of the planet.
