Plot synopsis
The Solovki Monastery, built in the 15th century, is a sacred place in whose history holiness and tragedy, union with God and the terrible ordeal of a gulag camp are intertwined. It is a place where today everyone seeks the answer to the essential question: "Who am I?" The hero of the film goes there to shoot a documentary film, but nothing goes as planned.
