The film is about Grigory Yavlinski's 2018 presidential campaign. "Novaya Gazeta" correspondent Anna Artemieva spent a month with Yavlinski's team, accompanied him on his pre-election trips. Many things that the candidate predicted then have come true: pension reform, economic crisis, constitutional amendment, irremovability of power. In the 2018 elections 77% of voters voted for Putin; for Yavlinsky - 1%. The film tells the story of a doomed attempt by an honest man to warn his country and fight for it in the current political reality.
