After living in the capital for many years, Aldar, a successful political consultant, returns home to Kalmykia to search for his mother who has disappeared in the steppe. When he finds her, they embark on a journey they did not have time to make during her lifetime. He is accompanied by a girl named Okon. He sees her first as a girlfriend, then as a spiritual medium who helps him find his mother, and finally, as the very essence of his nature, his internal code that allows him to be reborn, saved and freed.
