Plot synopsis
Mikhail Romanov is a judge in a seaside town court. He is known for his intransigence and integrity: the law and justice are above all else for him. One day he learns that his son, Anton, has had a misfortune. He took the car without asking and killed a motorcyclist, after which he fled.
Romanov without hesitation decides to take his son to the police station: he must confess and be punished. But soon it turns out that the motorcyclist who was killed, Daniil Razin, is the son of one of the most dangerous criminals in the city, whom he himself sent behind bars a year before. Romanov understands that confessing to the accident means condemning Anton to certain death. Can the judge save his son and what sacrifices is he ready to make for this?
