The film was shot from spring to winter 2021 in the vicinity of the village of Luzhitsa in the west of the Leningrad region. It was at that time that the landscapes and society of these places began to change catastrophically due to the construction of huge industrial buildings. The situation particularly affects the Vojans, a small people with a thousand-year history who have survived war, revolution and the Stalin era. Now, in the era of economic development, they are undergoing a new test.
