“U EN” is a Mari ensemble of 8 young musicians playing
colorful ethno-punk in Yoshkar-Ola and beyond. Its distinctive
feature is the search for a new sound by combining traditional
folk instruments with modern electronic beats. The musicians
are talented and outrageous. They are different, but united
by a common idea: to preserve and popularize the Mari culture
with their work. The project was implemented with the support
of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
