Plot synopsis

A film about the difficult life of a female stoker. Working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a boiler room that heats apartment buildings, Zinaida – who weighs just 38 kg – has to shovel hundreds of kilograms of coal along with her coworker, Alexander.
