The hero of the film, Josef K, a bank employee, is arrested on unfounded charges. But this arrest is conditional - Josef K. can lead an ordinary life, appearing for interrogations from time to time. However, the further the process unfolds, the more paradoxical forms it takes. The hero of the film cannot defend himself against the accusation, in particular because no one tells him what the accusation is. He tries to find help from a variety of people and no one refuses to help him. But the trouble is that all these “helpers” are somehow connected with the mysterious court.
