Edmundas Zubavičius graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow in 1977. 1977-1991 he wroked at the Lithuanian Film Studio. After the INdependence, he founded a TV film studio. He became the Head of the Lithuanian National Television in 1992. He made over 50 documentary films.
