Ekaterina and Yuri lived in a happy marriage for many years. Everything changed when Alzheimer's disease changed, because of which Yuri stopped recognizing his wife and became confused in his memories: he constantly talks about the Baikal-Amur Mainline and a trip to Siberia to finish building the railway. Ekaterina is burdened by her husband and decides to send him to a nursing home. A sudden glimmer of attention and tenderness from Yuri gives Ekaterina hope that their love is still alive.
