Plot synopsis
The third season of the animated documentary project, inspired by the memoirs of prominent Russian historical and cultural figures, continues this cinematic journey through the past, at the intersection of documentary, atmospheric animation, and a single performer. Each episode is inspired by an excerpt from a memoir read by a famous artist. The video sequence was created by animation artists and directors, and the music was written by contemporary composers. For the first time, the new season features "Fathers and Sons," illustrated by seven collections of memoirs from cartoonist Vasily Perov to director Andrei Tarkovsky.
